Someday is Today
At last, retirement is here to stay for Lois and I. Professionally, it has been quite a ride to get to this major milestone in our life:
40 years of employment at three different companies — HP, Cadence Design Systems and Paradigm Works @JPL / NASA.
A lifetime of experiences at multiple locations we called home, from Silicon Valley to France, England, Colorado and back to California.
A technical career developing computer chips of all kinds — from high performance microprocessors to components used in mass storage, computer networking, medical equipment, commercial planes, and interplanetary spacecraft.
A collaborative experience with many high profile companies including Intel, AMD, Sony, Olympus, Qualcomm, GE aviation, Boeing and NASA.
A project manager and technical contributor leading teams of all sizes.
An unimaginable and richly rewarding journey — from newlyweds at the University of California, Berkeley to full-time retirees in Rocklin, California.
Through it all, thick and thin, I am exceedingly grateful for Lois’s adoring love and support. I could not have done it without encouragement from Lois and our friends and family. And finally, without life sustaining spiritual strength, wisdom and shepherding from the Lord Jesus, I would have never made it.
Praise be to God, Someday is Today!
